• Never switch on the device immediately after it has been taken from a cold to a warm
environment. The condensation produced may, under certain conditions, lead to malfunc-
tions or damage; apart from this, there is risk of an electric shock. Therefore, wait until the
device has reached room temperature before operating it. This may take several hours!
• If you have reasons to believe that safe operation is not possible any longer, disconnect
the appliance immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation. It must be pre-
sumed that safe operation is no longer possible, if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device no longer functions
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous playing mater-
ial for children.
• Maintenance, adjustment, or repair work must only be carried out by a specialist/special-
ist workshop.
• Thunderstorms can be a risk to any electrical device. Excess voltage in the power line
may damage the device.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability
Insurance Associations for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be
observed.
• In schools, training centers, hobby and self-help workshops, the use of the product must
be supervised by trained personnel in a responsible manner.
• This module is equipped with highly sensitive components. Electronic components are
very sensitive to static electricity discharge. Only touch the module on the sides and avoid
contact with the pins on the circuit board.
• All wiring work must be performed while the power is off.
• This product generates high frequency. Never operate it in the vicinity of medical devices
(e.g. pacemakers) and/or medial equipment (e.g. in hospitals).

ronment. The condensation that forms might destroy your device. Allow the appliance to
reach room temperature.
• Never remove the SIM card while the GSM switching module GX106M is in operation.
