e) Pre-listening
Turn the LEVEL control (7) all the way to the left before plugging in or unplugging the
headphones, before putting on the headphones or before switching the mixer on or off.
Otherwise you risk damage to your hearing through excessive volume from the headphone
output.
• Use the MONO SPLIT/STEREO switch to determine how the sound is played by the headphones.
MONO SPLIT position:
The input channels selected with the HEADPHONES CUE (6) switches are played by one earpiece of the
headphones. The MASTER output is played by the other earpiece.
The MASTER switch (6) must be activated for this function.
STEREO position:
The input channels selected with the HEADPHONES CUE switches (6) and the MASTER output are played in
stereo by both earpieces.
For the MASTER output to be audible, the MASTER switch (6) must be activated.
• Use the MIXING control to determine which signal is played by the headphones.
CUE position:
Only the channels selected with the HEADPHONES CUE switches (6) are played.
MASTER position:
Only the MASTER channel is played.
The MASTER switch (6) must be activated for this function.
