General information

If you follow the operating instructions, your device will work without problems. Use the cleaning and care
products designed for the SC1250 Foam. Faults on the unit and poor cleaning and care results are often due
to the use of unsuitable cleaning and care products.
Unpack your SC1250 Foam and compare the different parts with the illustration on page 6.

Purpose of use

The basic version of the SC1250 Foam is designed for spray, foam and wet cleaning of hard surfaces.
With the use of optional accessories you can use the SC1250 Foam as well:
 Spray extraction for upholstery (with upholstery tool, optimal accessories))
 Carpet cleaning (with carpet adapter, optimal accessories)

Commissioning / Operation

Before using your SC1250 Foam:
 Removing plants and furniture from the room
 Vacuum carpets thoroughly first
 Pre-treat heavy soiling with stain remover
For best cleaning quality, use only cleaning agents recommended by the manufacturer.

Foam cleaner

Assembly and use when used as a foam cleaner
1. Fill the fresh water tank (1) with tab water (max. 50° C) up to approx. 5 cm below the edge.
(Note the detergent dosage according to the manufacturer).
A tank filled beyond this point leads to overflow of the dirty water tank. The liquid may be dangerous
due to its temperature, pressure or chemical composition.
In case of foam or liquid leakage, switch off the unit immediately!
2. Fill the chemical bottles and place in the accessory basket (10).
3. Place the suction hoses in the chemical bottles.
a. Connect the suction hose (A) to the suction hose connection (5). Make sure
that the pump is switched off (pump switch (8)) and the system is depressur-
ised before connecting the suction hose to the suction hose connection.
4. Press the connection nipple for the device into the connection coupling (4).
