5.1  M enu structure of setup
The individual items of the menu setup are described on the pages following the list below.

5.2  S ample ID
An alphanumeric sample ID with up to 12 characters can be entered. Alternatively, a previously
entered sample ID can be selected from the list. If a sample ID has been entered, which is either
pure l y numeric (for example, 123) or ends with a number (for example, WATER123), the fol l ow-
ing options are available:
1. <Auto Sequential> On
Using this setting will automatically increment the sample ID by 1 for each reading.
2. <Auto Sequential> Off
The sample ID is not incremented automatically.
A maximum of 5 sample IDs are stored in memory and listed for selection. If the maximum of 5
has already been entered, a sample ID can either be deleted manually or the oldest ID will be auto-
mat i c al l y overwritten by the new ID.
5.3  U ser ID
A user ID with up to 8 characters can be entered. Alternatively, a previously entered user ID can be
select e d from the list.
A maximum of 5 user IDs are stored in memory and listed for selection. If the maximum of 5 has
already been entered, a user ID can either be deleted manually or the oldest ID will be auto m at i c al-
ly overwritten by the new ID.
5.4  D ata logging
The meter stores up to 500 sets of measurement data in the memory. The number of data sets al-
ready stored in the memory is indicated by MXXX on the display. A message appears on the dis-
play when the memory is full. To save further measurements if the memory is full, data has to be
delet e d first. When measuring in dual channel mode (only SG98), both results will be stored sep a -
rate l y. Therefore, the memory number in this case will increase by 2. You can select between auto-
mat i c and manual storage or you can log your data into the memory in a user-defined interval:
