appliance.
Never put the machine on high-pile carpets.
Keep persons, children, animals and
flammable items in a safe distance, at least 2
metres from the front side and app. 60 cm from
all other surfaces of the housing body.
operation
The appliance can be put into operation after you
have read and understood the safety instructions.
To achieve optimum heat distribution, place the
electric heater in the middle of the room if possible or
at least 2 metres from the wall. As a result, the air will
circulate better and the room will be heated quicker.
All windows and doors should stay closed.
Never use the machine near flames, sparks or
flammable materials (except materials necessary for
operation - propane/butane in this case).
Operate the machine in a flat and stable position.
1.
Connect the control valve with the gas hose
connection.
2.
Put the control valve with the connected gas
hose to the gas bottle valve.
3.
Connect the gas hose connection with the
heater.
4.
Connect the power cable to a suitable outlet.
Ensure appropriate protection of your electrical
network.
5.
Unscrew the gas bottle valve.
6.
Check the screw caps with a leak detection
spray or soap water for any gas leakage. Tighten
them again if necessary.
7.
Control the On/Off button.
8.
From the suction side, check the fan if rotating.
9.
While the fan is rotating, keep the gas valve
pressed and simultaneously press the ignition
button several times until the heater ignites.
10.
Keep the gas valve button pressed for about 10
seconds.
11.
Check the gas heater if working continuously.
Turning off
1.
To turn the gas heater off, always close the gas
bottle valve first.
2.
Turn the machine off using the On/Off button.
3.
Disconnect the power cord to unplug the
machine.
Unpleasant odour can be smelled at the first startup
of the appliance under certain circumstances; ho-
wever, the odour is absolutely harmless and vanishes
completely with an increased time of operation.
Gas bottle change.
1.
To be made outdoors always, outside any flame
or sources of ignition, in the absence of other
persons. Proceed as follows!
2.
Close the gas bottle valve.
3.
Unscrew the reducer.
4.
Make sure the reducer seal is fitted.
5.
Connect the machine to a new gas bottle.
Maintenance
Before carrying out any work on the machine,
disconnect the plug from the socket.And close
the gas valve.
WARNING The machine must not be used under any
circumstances if the machine or the safety devices are
damaged.
Repairs and works specified in these Instructions may
only be performed by qualified authorised staff.
Use only original accessories and original spare parts.
Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance
can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insufficient mainte-
nance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and
injuries.
Never clean the machine and its components with
solvents, flammable or toxic liquids. Us only a damp
cloth making.
If necessary, a list of spare parts can be found at www.
guede.com.
Guarantee
Warranty period of 12 months applies to commercial
use and 24 months applies to private use and com-
mences on the day of purchase of the device.
The guarantee solely covers inadequacies caused
by material defect or manufacturing defect. Original
payment voucher with the sales date needs to be sub-
mitted for any claim in the guarantee period.
