3. Before first use

Remove the machine and the accessories
from the packaging. Check the machine for
transport damage and do not use the
machine in case of damages. Keep the
packing materials away from children, risk
of suffocation!

4. Contents of packing

1× Cordless heat gun
1× Flat nozzle
1× Reflection nozzle
1× Concentration nozzle
1× Operating instructions

5. Intended use

The heat gun is designed for the following
fields of application:
• for removing varnish or oil paint and
latex paint, stickers,
• for removing ski wax, putty and for
loosening rusty or tight nuts and
screws,
• for melting ice in frozen metal pipes and
locks,
• for shrinking packaging films and
shrink-film hoses,
• for loosening flooring,
• for deforming plastics,
• for drying acceleration of paint, varnish,
wet or damp substances or objects
before they are further processed,
• for torching wooding casings.
WARNING!
• Please note that glazes and base coats
on wood cannot be removed with the
heat gun.
• First test on a small not visible section
of the surface before processing a
larger area.
• Vapours of paints and plastics are poi-
sonous. Always ensure adequate venti-
lation, while working in buildings and
use inhalation protection, if necessary.
• Do not use chemical paint stripper or
solvent at the same time when using
the heat gun.
• For removing paint and varnish, direct
the heat gun nozzle from approx. 10 cm

distance onto the paint, until it starts
bubbling. Push the paint in the blowing
direction off its substrate.
• From profiled surfaces, remove the
paint after heating by using a wire
brush.
• Areas that should not to be heated up,
please cover with a non-flammable and
poorly heat conducting material.
• Before cleaning the unit, always unplug
and allow the heat gun to cool down
fully.

6. Mounting the nozzle

(See Fig. B)
WARNING: Always remove the battery from
the device before attaching or removing the
nozzle.
a. Insert the desired nozzle (A, B, C) into
the tool collet and push it firmly.
b. To remove the nozzle, turn the tool
collet counter clockwise and take out
the nozzle.

7. Rafter hook

(See Fig. C, D)
With the provided rafter hook (3) you can
fasten the heat gun on a suitable place.
a. First lift up the spring-loaded rafter
hook (3) and then take it out of the hole.
b. Fasten the rafter hook on a suitable
place, so you will have the heat gun
ready to hand.

8. ON/OFF switch

WARNING: Always wear adequate personal
protection equipment when setting up and
operating the tool. The safety switch (4) is
always in the central position, thus the heat
gun is locked and cannot be switched on.
a. To start the tool, first push the safety
switch (4) to the right or to the left and
then squeeze the trigger switch (6).
b. Release the trigger switch to stop the
heat gun.
ATTENTION! The motor will still run for
approx. 6 seconds. This is necessary in
order to cool down the motor.
Note: The heat gun reaches operating tem-
perature within a few seconds.
