Function of the SC43
The SC43 lets you protect your plants and furniture from excessively strong
sunlight.
The SC43 should always be attached so that it senses the sunlight as soon as
possible. If the sun value that has been set is exceeded, "SUN" appears on the
display. The roller shutter or the venetian blind automatically lowers to the in-
termediate position, or as far as the SC43, stops and clears the SC43 again.
Shade function:
If the light value is exceeded for longer than 3 min. -> roller shutter moves
down.
If the light intensity is below the light value for longer than 15 min. -> roller
shutter moves up.
SUN
The threshold value is preset to 06.
At this value -- the sun protection function is off. The brightness value can be
set to anywhere between 01 (heavily overcast) and 15 (direct sunlight).
The display indicates the current sun value and the sun value to be set. The
value to be set flashes.
Twilight function:
If the light intensity is below the twilight value after 12:00 -> roller shutter
closes.
TWILIGHT
The threshold value is preset to --.
At this value -- the twilight function is off.
The brightness value can be set to anywhere between 01 (night) and 15 (early
twilight).
The display indicates the current twilight value and the twilight value to be set.
The value to be set flashes.
TEST mode
(Can only be activated after a continuous UP command)
This mode lets you test the functionality of the SC43. If Test mode is active,
you will see TEST on the display.
In TEST mode, the shade function times are shortened.
