• Never expose the batteries to excessive heat
(such as direct sunlight, fire or similar).
• Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Strong di-
rect heat can damage batteries. Do not ex-
pose the device to sources of intense heat.
• Never short-circuit batteries.
• Never throw batteries into a fire and never dis-
mantle batteries.
• Remove flat batteries from the device immedi-
ately. There is an increased risk of leakage.
• Do not allow battery acid to come into contact
with the skin, eyes or mucous membranes. In
the event of contact, rinse the affected are-
as immediately with plenty of clean water and
consult a doctor immediately.
• If the device is not going to be used for longer
periods, remove the battery.
