Probable Cause
Thermostat set too high.
Unit plugged into incorrect power supply.
Thermostat defective.
Thermostat set too low.
Location of unit is susceptible to air currents
(air conditioning ducts or exhaust fans).
Unit not plugged in.
Unit not turned on.
Power On/Off switch defective.
Thermostat defective.
Heating element burned out.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

ELECTRIC SHOCK HAzARD: Turn OFF power switch,
unplug power cord, and allow unit to cool before
performing cleaning, adjustments, or maintenance.
Change the thermostat to a lower setting. Refer
to "Thermostat adjustment" in the OPERaTION
section.
Verify with qualified personnel that power
supply matches unit specification.
Contact authorized Service agent or Hatco for
assistance.
Change the thermostat to a higher setting.
Refer to "Thermostat adjustment" in the
OPERaTION section.
Block air currents or relocate unit.
Plug unit into proper power supply.
