4 - BEFORE OPERATING

Before operating your new Drawer Microwave make sure
you read and understand this operation manual completely.
• Before the Drawer Microwave can be used, follow these
steps:
Plug in the appliance. ENJOY YOUR MICROWAVE
TOUCH CLEAR will appear.
1. Touch the STOP/CLEAR pad. : will
appear.
2. Set clock.
To Set the Clock
1. Touch TIMER/SETTINGS pad twice.
The display shows: TO SET CLOCK
x 2
ENTER TIME.
2. Touch number pads for correct time of
day and touch START/+30 SEC pad.
This is a 12 hour clock. If you attempt to enter an incorrect
clock time, ERROR will appear in the display. Touch the
STOP/CLEAR pad and re-enter the time.
If the electrical power supply to your Drawer Microwave
should be interrupted, the display will intermittently show
ENJOY YOUR MICROWAVE TOUCH CLEAR after the power
is reinstated. If this occurs during cooking, the program
will be erased. The time of day will also be erased. Simply
touch STOP/CLEAR pad and reset the clock for the correct
time of day.
NOTE:
• The appliance can be programmed with the drawer open
except for START/+30 SEC.
Stop/Clear
Touch the STOP/CLEAR pad to:
1. Erase if you make a mistake during programming.
2. Cancel timer.
3. Pause the microwave temporarily during timed cooking.
4. Return the time of day to the display.
5. Cancel a program during cooking. (Touch twice to cancel
timed cooking.)

Open or Close Microwave Drawer
Press the OPEN/CLOSE pad on the control panel or wave
twice on top left side of the drawer to open the microwave.
The Easy Wave only works to open the microwave, not
close. The appliance also can be closed by gently pushing
on the drawer. Do not pull the drawer manually by hand,
except in the case of emergency, such as a power failure.
If necessary, push or pull slowly.
Easy Wave Open On/Off
Easy Wave Open is by default set to OFF when plugged
in. This function must be enabled from within the TIMER/
SETTINGS MENU. The blue light on the center of the panel
will illuminate once Easy Wave Open has been activated.
While Control Lock is activated, the Easy Wave Open
function is disabled.
To use the Easy Wave Open function, simply wave your
hand in front of the sensor twice in consecutive motions.
This can be either up and down or side to side motions.
Easy Wave Open: Enable
1. Touch TIMER/SETTINGS pad 8 times.
The display shows: EASY WAVE
x 8
OVEN ON? TOUCH START.
2. Touch START/+30 SEC pad. The
display shows: EASY WAVE OVEN
ON.
When activated, a blue LED indicator is illuminated on
top to indicate that the function is on.
Easy Wave Open: Disable
1. Touch TIMER/SETTINGS pad
8 times. The display shows: EASY
x 8
WAVE OVEN OFF? TOUCH START.
2. Touch START/+30 SEC pad.
The display shows: EASY WAVE
OVEN OFF.
