TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom
Symbol 'ch' appears in the
displays.
Error code E1 or E2.
Error code E3 or E4.
Error code E5 or E6.
Other error codes.
Possible cause
Key lock function is activated. Deactivate the lock function:
Supply voltage or frequency is
different from the rated values.
Internal temperature of the
hob is too high.
Internal temperature of hob is
too high.
Defective generator.
Solution
Switch on the hob.
Touch and hold the lock key.
Contact a certified installer.
Switch off the hob and let
it cool down (H disappears
from the displays). Switch
on the hob. If the same error
is displayed again, call an
authorised service agent.
Check if the hob has enough
ventilation, and is build in
correctly. Let the hob cool
down, and try to restart the
hob. Check whether the fan
runs smoothly; if not, call a
service technician.
