Viscount Chorale 1
Owner's Manual
7. [BASS] stops: This section contains the voices of Bass.
8. [MANUAL I] stops: This section contains the voices of Manual I
9. [MANUAL II] stops: This section contains the voices of Manual II.
Note: Manual I stop LEDs remain lit also if Split is deactivated.
10. [TRACK]: Selects a track to record or play.
11. [REC]: Starts the recording of a track.
12. [START/STOP]: Starts the recording or playback of a track.
Note: for recording and playback see paragraph 4.4
13. [SPLIT]: Activate/Deactivate keyboard's split. In fact (see
paragraph 4.1) the keyboard can play as if there are two separate
manuals, one using Manual II voices and the other using Manual I
and Bass voices. Split point is set on E4 (left included) by default.
Moreover, the two keyboard parts can also play orchestral voices:
two for left part, three for right part.
14. [MAN.I ORCHESTRA]: Activate/Deactivate orchestral voices
on Manual I. The two voice buttons can be associated with any one
of the eight orchestral voices (see paragraph 4.2).
15. [SOUND STYLE]: The Chorale 1 has three different organ
styles (left to right): Baroque, Romantic and Symphonic, that permit to
chose a phonic adequate to the organ literature you are going to play.
There are, however, two variants for Baroque style, corresponding to the
first two LEDs.
16. [MAN.I OCT UP]: If Split point is active, the notes of Manual I are
transposed up an octave.
17. [MAN.II OCT DOWN]: Transposes the notes of Manual II down an
octave, independently from the Split state.
