Insert the lifting pole into either socket (1) at
the head end of the bed, with the horizontal
part of the pole above the centre of the bed.
Twist the pole so that the notch (2) locates
over the pin at the bottom of the socket.
Lock the lifting pole by use the shaft locking
pin (3).
Put it through two walls and close the clamp.

When the lifting pole is correctly installed, the
indicator line (4) will be level with the top of
the socket.
