7. Commissioning
Acceptance test (in case of industrial/public use):
Before first use and after any significant modifications, the installation (including the electrical
connections) must be inspected by an official expert.
A yearly inspection by an expert is required.
At least every 4 years, an acceptance test must be carried out by an expert.
Setup with a stand on the floor
Adjust the stand height so that the effect light is outside of the area persons reach with their
hands.
The effect light must be sufficiently far from the ceiling or any other limitation areas to prevent
heat accumulation.
The load capacity of the stand must be sufficient for the effect light load.
The stand must have a safety device to prevent inadvertent retraction of the stand.
The stand must be set up on a stable and horizontal surface.
The connection cables must not be located in the public area and the stand must be secured
against tilting (e.g. by pulling at the cables).
The stand's base must be placed or locked outside of the public area.
The stand must not be placed in the area of escape routes.
• Open the stand clamp screw at the stand clamp.
• Plug the effect light with the stand clamp onto a stand with a diameter of 35 mm. Smaller diameters are not
permissible, because they would prevent secure stand assembly.
• When the stand clamp is entirely plugged onto the stand, tighten the clamp screw.
Ceiling, wall or crossbeam installation
• If you do not want to set up the device on the floor but at the ceiling, the wall or a suitable crossbar system, attach
the effect light with its 10 mm assembly thread on the top of the casing. The mounting material and accessories
used must be suitable for the attachment type and able to bear the load of the effect light.
• Use self-securing nuts or screws size M10 at the attachment points for attachment.
• Additionally secure the installation with a suitable and certified safety retention rope or safety net with a load
carrying capacity of 12 times the effect light. The safety retention rope or the net must be designed to support
the effect light in the event of failure of the main support system independently of the main attachment. The effect
light must be caught after free fall of no more than 20cm if the main support system is defective.
