manual, where the brewing unit installed is of a different type (bought or built by EMILIANA SErBAtOI Srl itself). See § 4.2 CE conformity.

3. LEGISLAtIVE AND rEGULAtOry FrAMEWOrk APPLICABLE

3.1. REFERENCE LEGISLATION

It is therefore appropriate that, on the occasion of each review, the user learn diligently about any changes or updates of
competence as regards the mode of use.
3.2. ADR-EXEMPTIONS
Annex A, further to listing a number of clarifications, indicates the forms of exemption with regard to the transport of dangerous goods;
thanks to this system of exemption you can transport ADr goods in quantity and manner prescribed by subsection 1.1.3.6 of the agree-
ment without being obliged to use qualified drivers and vehicles equipped with ADR equipment and plates. In particular, these exemptions
relate to:
– exemptions related to the nature of the transport operation
– exemptions related to quantities carried per transport unit.
As for the not approved version of CArrytANk
only in the event that the user can take advantage of the exemption for nature of transport (according to paragraph 1.1.3.1. c) ADR).
3.2.1. EXEMPTIONS RELATED TO THE NATURE OF THE TRANSPORT OPERATION
(TOTAL EXEMPTION REF. ADR § 1.1.3.1).
As regards the transport of fuels, the ADr provisions shall not apply in the following cases:
– Point a), transport of dangerous goods by private individuals where these goods are packaged for retail sale and are intended for their
personal or domestic use or recreational activities provided that measures are taken to prevent any loss of contents in normal conditions
of transport. When these goods are flammable liquids carried in refillable receptacles filled by, or for, an individual, the total amount
shall not exceed 60 litres per receptacle and 240 litres per transport unit. Dangerous goods in IBCs, large packaging or tanks are not
considered as packaged for retail sale.
– Point c), carriage by enterprises as a complement to their main activity, such as supply to construction sites or civil construction, or for
the way back from these sites, or for control, repair or maintenance works in quantities of not more than 450 litres per packaging and
within the maximum quantities specified in 1.1.3.65. Measures must be taken to prevent any loss of contents in normal conditions of
transport. these exemptions do not apply to class 7 (radioactive materials). transport operations carried out by such enterprises for
their supply or external or internal distribution are not covered by this exemption.
3.2.2. EXEMPTIONS RELATED TO QUANTITIES CARRIED PER TRANSPORT UNIT
(PARTIAL EXEMPION REF. ADR § 1.1.3.6)
Chapter 1.1.3.6 of ADR lists, with a specific table (1.1.3.6.3), a number of requirements involving a partial restriction on the transport of
dangerous goods; in particular it is not mandatory, within the quantitative limits fixed for the various categories of transport, compliance
with the requirements relating to:
– danger panels and labels on vehicles
– written instructions for the driver
– equipment
– additional fire extinguishers beyond the compulsory one of 2 kg
– driver's training certificate
– prohibition to transport passengers
Specifically, for fuels, the limitations are:
– for substances and articles belonging to packing group II (petrol) the maximum total quantity transportable per transport unit is 333 litres
– for substances and articles belonging to packing group III (diesel fuel, kerosene) the maximum total quantity transportable per transport
unit is 1000 litres.
If the quantity of dangerous goods transported exceed the limits indicated in paragraph 1.1.3.6 of ADr (i.e. more than 1000 litres of diesel
fuel only or more than 333 litres of petrol only), the transport does not benefit of any kind of exemption.
