− Positive and effective training takes time. Do not rush:
− Choose a familiar area, a place your dog is used to.
− Choose the right moment to press the button: at the exact time your dog does something
wrong.
− Give your dog plenty of encouragement: he will learn faster and his desire to respond will
only increase.

Cautions for use

− The Canicom Spray receiver collar is shower proof (but not waterproof).
− The remote control is shower proof (but not waterproof). It is only designed to remain a short
time in the rain. Put it in a dry place as soon as possible. If the remote control falls into the
water, it could be damaged in an irreversible way.
− Your dog should not wear a tag, metallic collar, or any other kind of collar together with the
Canicom Spray collar.
− Avoid placing the remote control close to objects sensitive to magnetic fields which could be
irreversibly damaged.
− Do not place or keep the unit in places exposed to high temperatures.
− NUM'AXES advises to use the same type and same brand of batteries as those
supplied in your new purchased product. Other brands may not operate or may
not be completely compatible with your product. You can purchase the suitable
batteries from NUM'AXES or from your distributor.
− If you are not using the collar for 15 days or more, empty the reservoir by pressing repeatedly
on the "long spray" button.
− Remove the batteries from the remote control and receiver collar if you are not using the
appliance for 3 months or more.
− It is necessary to replace the batteries every two years, even if the unit has not been used
for long periods.
− Never leave discharged batteries in the unit (remote control and collar): they could leak and
damage your product.
− Using a mobile phone within 1 metre from the collar can occasionally trigger it.
− Keep the product and refill can out of reach of children.
The refill can is a pressurized container. CAUTION:
− Keep the refill can away from direct sunlight and do not expose it to temperatures exceeding
50°C/122°F.
− Do not pierce or burn the refill can, even after use.
− Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material.
− Keep it away from sources of ignition – No smoking.
− Keep it in a cool and well-ventilated area.
− Use only as directed.
