General Information:

Documents required for the technical approval must be copied from the installation

instructions and given to the customer.

Please read through the installation instructions before starting work.

All holes drilled must be deburred and then coated with zinc dust paint.

Stored data may be lost when the battery is disconnecting.

Please obtain information from your MB dealer / manufacturer beforehand.

Disconnect battery earth cable.

Before drilling, please make sure there is sufficient clearance behind the trim.

Route the cables to be laid in the vehicle and in the rear under the rear seat bench along the

existing wiring ducts.

The failure of a turn signal lamp, including on the trailer, is indicated by an increase in the

flashing frequency. As a result, no other flashing check is necessary.

Important: Please observe the changes for vehicles with Parktronic from Page 59.

The German edition of these installation instructions is decisive for all legal questions.
