SIMPLE LOGGER II

4.1 LED INDICATORS (command and/or status)

Information about the operating or stopped state of the device is obtained by pressing the "PRESS" button
for less than 0.5 second. If the device is in operation, its operation will be indicated by the flashing of the
LEDs. If the device is stopped, no LED will flash.
The device is put into operation by pressing the "PRESS" button until all LEDs light. The button can be
released at this point and the device will remain in operation. If the button is released before the LEDs all
light together, the device will remain off.
If the "PRESS" button is kept pressed when the device is in operation, the LEDs light one after another.
Keeping it pressed until the last LED lights and releasing it when it lights switches the device off. Once the
last LED has gone off, releasing the button no longer affects the current state of operation. This process
makes it possible, when the case arises, to override the effect of an inadvertent press of the button.
The desired function is chosen by keeping the "PRESS" button pressed (with the device in operation) until
the LED corresponding to the desired function lights. Releasing the button then selects that function.
Stopping the device does not terminate recording in progress and does not prevent
programmed recording session from starting.
From the "stopped" mode, the device starts automatically for the programmed recording.
Meaning of the lighting of the LEDs:
As a reminder, the function is obtained by a long press on the button, which causes the continuous but brief
lighting of all of the LEDs, one after another. Releasing the button during (and only during) the lighting of a
particular LED starts the corresponding function.
After re-activation, every 5 seconds for one minute, the device indicates its various statuses by brief bursts of
lighting. After one minute, the device returns to standby mode.
