Before starting operation
Before connecting the air supply hose, close
pressure controller and speed regulating valve.
Before each operation check air supply hose for damage.
When the diaphragm pump is used in a forced-feed
(flooded inlet) situation, it is recommended to install
a check valve between the pump and the container.
This prevents any draining of the container in case
of a diaphragm rupture.
When transferring hazardous liquids, the pump should
not be operated with a flooded inlet, but only under
self-priming conditions.
Secure the pump legs to a solid base plate.
Diameters of hoses and/or pipes should be as
large as possible.
The delivery rate depends on the air supply as well as on the
liquid supply available at the pump inlet. For self-priming operations
it is recommended to use a suction pipe diameter which is larger
in diameter than the discharge pipe (ND suction thread x 1,5).
Before starting operation check all screws for
thightness. Re-torque crosswise all screws by
an appropriate torque wrench.

In case of leakage during operation, re-torque all
screws on the pump housing by a torque wrench -
but only after having stopped the pump.
