LEASH

To install your Leash correctly, follow these instructions:
CAUTION: the lark's head knot on the Leash Plug is not a good practice. This technique extends the cord too
much, which may eventually damage the rail of your Board. As its name suggests, the Rail Saver section of
your Leash is a portion of the strap that should be the only one to have contact with your Board. Both the Cord
and the Leash have the potential to be sharp and will act like a butter knife cutting if you misuse your Leash or
if the Board finds itself in the wrong position.
REMINDER : A Leash deteriorates quickly, despite appearances, and it must be replaced at least once a year.
Replace it at the first signs of wear and tear. It can be worn Velcro or micro slices in the cord. For your safety,
and the safety of those around you, and for the durability of your Board are at stake. Legally, your Leash is your
lifejacket since it connects you to an unsinkable object.
TIP : Do not wrap your Leash around the tail. It will hold the shape that wrapping will give it, and it will get
caught in your feet all the time. Store it in the bag, with all the Velcro's tightly closed. At home, rinse it and
remove the algae from the Velcro, then let it dry.
EN
• Check the knot on the Leash cord and tighten it
securely. This knot is your guarantee of safety!
• Pass the loop of the cord through the Leash Plug
so that you have two equal loops on each side of
the metal bar.
• Pass your Leash's rail saver strap through the two
handles formed with the cord.
• Close your rail saver Velcro correctly. The two
strands of the cord must be passed through the
fold of the strap.
