ROTATION MODE / LINE MODE
By means of the ON/OFF knob (6) the receiver can be switched from the rotation mode to the line
mode. For this, press the key shortly (long = ON/OFF).
Red lamp = detection of laser lines
Green lamp = detection of rotation laser beam
Detection accuracy coarse:

LONG / CLOSE DISTANCE DETECTION
With the same key (4) - while the line mode is activated - the unit can be switched from long distance
to close distance detection mode.
Close distance: detection range up to 10 m
Long distance: detection range over 15 m.

Detection of the laser beam with below display indication
A) Move the receiver down
Acoustic signal: short frequent beep
B) Move the receicer up
Acoustic signal: long frequent beep
C) On level
Acoustic signal: continuous beep

ACCURACY CHECK

As shown in Fig. 1, make the keypad side of the instrument facing the wall. Power on and take the cross
point of the rotating laser line and the vertical line on the wall as point A. Turn the unit 180 degree, take
the cross point of the rotating laser line and the vertical line on the wall as point B. Measure the vertical
distance between point A and B. The result should not be more than 2 mm. Otherwise the accuracy is
beyond the tolerance and the unit needs to be adjusted. Mark the middle of point A and B as point O. As
shown in Fig. 2 make the side of the instrument having the handle side facing the wall, and take the cross
point of the rotating laser line and the vertical line on the wall as point C. Turn the unit 180 degree again,
and take the cross point of the rotating laser line and the vertical line on the wall as point D. Measure the
vertical distance between point O and points C, D. If the vertical distance is more than 2 mm, the accuracy
is beyond tolerance and the unti needs to be adjusted.
