Bei Verwendung der europäischen Videonorm
CCIR (625 Zeilen, 50 Halbbilder pro Sekunde)
den Umschalter auf „CCIR" stellen.
Bei Verwendung der amerikanischen Videonorm
EIA (525 Zeilen, 60 Halbbilder pro Sekunde) den
Umschalter auf „EIA" stellen.
3) Sollen zur parallelen Überwachung mehrere Mo-
nitore aufgestellt werden, immer den Videoaus-
gang (9) über ein 75-Ω-Koaxialkabel mit dem
Videoeingang (8) des nächsten Monitors verbin-
den.
An die Videoausgangsbuchse lässt sich aber
auch alternativ ein Videorecorder für die Aufnah-
me anschließen.
Wichtig:
Kein unbenutztes Kabel in der Videoausgangs-
buchse stecken lassen, weil dann die automati-
sche Impedanzumschaltung (75 Ω/hochohmig)
für den Videoeingang nicht korrekt arbeitet.
4) Zum Schluss das beiliegende Netzkabel zuerst in
die Buchse „AC IN" (7) des Monitors und dann in
eine Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz) stecken.
5 Bedienung
1) Den Monitor mit dem Schalter (6) auf der Geräte-
vorderseite einschalten. Die Betriebsanzeige (5)
leuchtet.
2) Nachdem alle Geräte der Überwachungsanlage
eingeschaltet wurden, mit dem Helligkeitsregler
„BRIGHT" (3) und dem Kontrastregler „CON-
TRAST" (4) ein optimales Bild einstellen.
3) Wenn das Bild durchlaufen sollte (Abb. 3), mit
dem Regler „V-HOLD" (2) ein stabiles Bild ein-
stellen.
4) Wenn die Zeilen nicht synchronisiert werden
(Abb. 4), das Bild mit dem Regler „H-HOLD" (1)
stabilisieren.

4 Setting into operation
All connections must be made or changed only with
the unit switched off.
1) Connect the video input (8) to the video output of
the video source (e. g. monitoring camera, cam-
era selector, video splitter, video recorder for re-
production) via a 75 Ω coaxial cable.
2) Use the selector (10) to choose the video stand-
ard with which the video source operates:
When using the European video standard CCIR
(625 lines, 50 fields per second), set the selector
to "CCIR".
When using the American video standard EIA
(525 lines, 60 fields per second), set the selector
to "EIA".
3) If several monitors are to be set up for parallel
monitoring, always connect the video output (9)
to the video input (8) of the following monitor via
a 75 Ω coaxial cable.
Alternatively, it is also possible to connect a
video recorder to the video output jack.
Important!
Do not leave an unused cable in the video output
jack as the automatic impedance selection (75 Ω/
high impedance) for the video input will not oper-
ate correctly in this case.
4) Finally connect the supplied mains cable first to
the jack "AC IN" (7) of the monitor and then to a
mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
5 Operation
1) Switch on the monitor with the power switch (6)
on the front panel. The operating indication LED
(5) will light up.
2) After all units of the monitoring system have been
switched on, adjust an optimum picture with the
