Operation

outside (Fig. 5-52) or the OPTIMISATION "OP.10"
screen appears, inside (Fig. 5-53).

Optimum condition has been achieved and cannot be
improved.
— Continue as shown on screen BALANCING (Fig.
5-51).

Silent wheel running conditions cannot be improved.
— Press ESC or STOP (1,16, Fig.5-52a) to quit
Optimisation.

However, it is possible to readjust the tyre with rim to
obtain a considerable reduction of weights (i.e. smaller
weights) without having an adverse effect on wheel
running noise.
— Press MINIMISATION (29, Fig.5-52a)
Splitting faults
At this stage of the program the faults index is available
(Fig.5-53a).
— Press XXX.
Two values appear, indicating how the total wheel
unbalance is split as a percentage between the
rim and the tyre;
Unbalance percentage attributable to the Rim (1).
Unbalance percentage attributable to the Tyre (2).
— Continue as shown on screen OPTIMISATION
