temporarily discontinue supply if the cuff is
constricted.

• Unusual results
Any measurement is largely dependent on
the circumstances during the measuring
procedure. Before measurement people of-
ten fail to take time to calm their circulation
adequately, use incorrect cuff sizes or they
talk or move about during measurement.
