3. Inflate the cuff
Pres the Start/Stop button. The device con-
ducts a performance test and all the display
elements light up.
The cuff is inflated to the necessary pres-
sure. Then the measuring process proper
commences when air is allowed to escape
and you hear a slight hiss. The "♥"symbol on
the display flashes to indicate the pulse rate
and later there is an audible beep. Systole,
diastole and pulse are measured and the cuff
is completely deflated. The end of measure-
ment is indicated by a long beep.
The display shows the blood pressure levels
of systole and diastole along with the pulse
rate.
4. Switch off the device
Press Start/Stop button. The figures meas-
ured are saved automatically.
