*** Occurrence of conductive deposits or dry, non-conductive deposits which become conductive
when an expected level of condensation occurs. Under such conditions, the product is usually
protected from direct sunlight, precipitation and high wind pressure but neither temperature nor
air humidity are being monitored.
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in
electric shock, fi re and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
LASER DETEKTOR SAFETY WARNINGS
Never disassemble or modify this apparatus in any way.
Do not use this apparatus near water.
Clean only with dry cloth. Certain cleaning agents and solvents
are harmful to plastics and other insulated parts. Keep the
apparatus handle clean, dry and free of oil or grease.
Refer all servicing to qualifi ed service personnel.

No fl ame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on
the apparatus.
It shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no
objects fi lled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the
apparatus.
Warning! To reduce the risk of fi re, personal injury, and product
damage due to a short circuit, never immerse your tool, battery
pack or charger in fl uid or allow a fl uid to fl ow inside them.
Corrosive or conductive fl uids, such as seawater, certain industrial
chemicals, and bleach or bleach containing products, etc., can
cause a short circuit.
Watch out for erroneous results if the tool is defective or if it has
been dropped, misused or modifi ed.
Ensure tool magnets are securely mounted to a metal surface.
Magnet strength may not hold on thin metal surfaces, causing the
tool to fall.
Maintain labels and nameplates. These carry important
information. If unreadable or missing, contact Milwaukee for a free
replacement.
Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures
other than those specifi ed herein may result in hazard-ous
radiation exposure.
Be sure to power off instrument after use. When instrument will
not be used for a long period, place it in storage after removing

The device conforms to the most stringent requirements of the
relevant electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards and
regulations. Yet, the possibility of causing interference in other
devices cannot be totally excluded.
The performance of the product could be eff ected by
electromagnetic fi elds.
If there are any electromagnetic interferences occurring please
identify the source, remove it or move the product.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BATTERY
This tool is designed to be powered by 2 AA batteries properly
inserted into the instrument. Do not attempt to use with any other
voltage or power supply.
Do not leave batteries within the reach of children.
Do not mix new and used batteries. Do not mix brands (or types
within brands) of batteries.
Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
Install batteries according to polarity (+ / –) diagrams.
Properly dispose of used batteries immediately.
Battery acid may leak from damaged batteries under extreme
load or extreme temperatures. In case of contact with battery acid
wash it off immediately with soap and water. In case of eye
contact rinse thoroughly for at least 10 minutes and immediately
seek medical attention.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
insuffi cient experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or have
been instructed by them in the safe use of the tool.Children
should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with
the tool.
SPECIFIED CONDITIONS OF USE
The laser detector may be used for outdoor work under direct
sunlight, or bright conditions and for extended indoor ranges of up
to 50 meters / 164 feet.
Do not use this product in any other way as stated for normal use.
EC-DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
Hereby, Techtronic Industries GmbH declares that the radio
equipment type LLD50 is in compliance with Directive 2014/53/
EU. The full text of the EU declaration of conformity is available at
the following internet address: http://services.milwaukeetool.eu.
ACCURACY FIELD CHECK
Perform the accuracy fi eld check procedure immediately upon
unboxing of each new laser detector and before exposure to
jobsite conditions. Should any deviation from listed product
accuracy be found, please contact a Milwaukee service facility.
Failure to do so could result in rejection of warranty claim.
Infl uences on Accuracy
Sunlight or other extreme lighting conditions can inversely impact
accuracy. For best results, use indoors or avoid direct sunlight.
Abusive treatment of the laser detector, such as excessive
impacts from drop, can lead to deviations in product accuracy.
Therefore, it is recommended to conduct the fi eld check
procedure after any impact or before completing any critical jobs.
For best results, use with Milwaukee Lasers.
Horizontal Leveling Accuracy
1. Set up compatible laser 10 m from fl at wall. Turn on lasers
horizontal beam.
2. Ensure the laser source is self leveled and per-pendicular to
wall.
3. Place detector fl at on wall directly in front of the laser source
and slightly below the projected laser line.
4. Keeping the detector bottom parallel with the ground, raise
detector until down arrow appears.
5. Lower detector until center line appears.
6. Mark a line on the wall - Point I.
7. Continue to lower detector until up arrow appears.
8. Raise detector until center line appears.
9. Mark a line on the wall - Point II.

ammonia and household detergents containing ammonia. Never
use fl ammable or combustible solvents around tools.
Cleaning the Sensor Window
Blow off loose particles with clean compressed air. Carefully wipe
the surface with a cotton swab moistened with water.
Repairs
This tool has limited serviceable parts. Do not open housing or
disassemble tool. For repairs, return the tool, battery pack and
charger to the nearest authorized service center.
Use only Milwaukee accessories and spare parts. Should
components need to be replaced which have not been described,
please contact one of our Milwaukee service agents (see our list
of guarantee/service addresses).
If needed, an exploded view of the tool can be ordered. Please
