2.3 Basic security instructions

All security instructions stated in the technical
manual have to be carefully observed.
For the installation and function of the device,
the rules of technology, as well as the local reg-
lementations given by construction supervision,
fire regulation and the respective orders given
bylaw and the accident-prevention-rules have to
be observed.
The mounting of the fuel and gas connections,
the commissioning, the connection of electricity
as well as the maintenance and service works
must only be done by a qualified specialist.
The following notes are strictly to be observed:
• Do not empty the oil tank. The oil tempera-
ture should be above +4° C
• Always unplug power supply plug before
working on the electrical system
• Remove power supply plug when the heater
has entirely cooled down
• For a safe operation of the apparats it is
absolutely necessary to use the Kroll flue
gas accessories.

2.4 Location

• The mobile heating unit is only to be set up
and used on fire - proof flooring
• The heating appliance must not be set up
in rooms containing explosive dust, smoke,
combustible gases or fluids

Attention
• Safety distance: at least 2 m from walls or
objects
Warning
The cross section of the air-return pipe must
absolutely be maintained. Therefore pose this
air-return pipe only streched and straight
Power connection
Connect to 400 V/3N ~.
On buildings sites the connection to the mains
electrical isolator must be in accordance to your
country's regulations.

2.5 Exhaust fumes

According to the „UVV", the exhaust fumes have
to be led outside through a chimney approved for
oil-heaters.
The opening of the flue pipe must clear the roof
at least 1 m and the roof ridge by at least 0,5 m.
It must also be exposed to the free wind condi-
tions.
