Description

Collected material is stored in a 40 liters container which is
easily removed from the unit in one simple operation. Th e
collected material is ergonomically handled in this way for
recycling or disposal. A sightglass on the container provides
for continous monitoring during operation. Th e container
has a maximum capacity of 60 kg of material.
Th e DC 3800i is stable, tough and reliable and particularly
well suited to source extraction and cleaning in a large va-
riety of applications; welding, grinding, sanding and fl oor
cleaning. With a very low sound level, the DC 3800i is

Operation

Connect the machine to a suitable power source
according to the specifi cation plate on the machine.
If the electrical cord get damage it should be repla-
ced.
The fi lter should be cleaned 1-2 times per day with
continues running of the machine or when the fi lter
monitor is in the red area:
1. Start the machine.
2. Close the shutter valve for inlet.
3. Open and shut the cleaning fl ap with quick
movement 8-10 times.

Service

With cleaning and maintenance on the machine,
the power cable should be disconnected from the
supply.
- The fi ne fi lter should be changed at least
once per year. Use only original spare
parts.
- If the machine is used with a microfi lter/
HEPA fi lter, this should be changed every
300 running hours. Use breathing protec-
tion when changing the fi lter. Care must be
taken during the fi lter change not to expose
unprotected persons to harmful dust.
- Used fi lters should be sealed in a plastic
sack and disposed properly.

Th e DC 3800i is powered by a 3 phase Dustcontrol turbo
pump.
4. Open the shutter valve.
5. - If the fi lter condition meter reads green -
continue work.
- If the fi lter condition meter reads red -
clean pulse again.
- If the fi lter condition meter still reads
red - change the fi lter No 42025.
The container under the cyclone should be emptied
when it is 2/3 full.
The maximum capacity is 60 kg.
- Check regularly that the electric cable isn´t
damaged.
The DC 3800i should be performance tested at least
once per year because it may be used with hazardous
materials. Worn parts must be replaced. Dustcontrol
is only responsible for machines that are equipped
with original spare parts.
The turbopump has a very long maintenance free ser-
vice life. After approximately 10 000 running hours,
the radial seal between the motor and pump housing
should be greased. Bearings and seals in the motor
and turbopump should be checked and lubricated.
Parts worn beyond serviceable tolerances should be
replaced with genuine spare parts.
