Instructions for a safe pump start
The power cable should have a minimum section equivalent to that of H07 RN-F. To be able to use the pump outdoors,
it is necessary to use cable with a length of 10 m. The plug and connections should be protected by water splashes.
Before using the pump, always inspect it visually (especially power cable and plug). Do not use the pump if it is damaged.
If the pump is damaged, have it inspected by the specialised assistance service only.
Make sure that electric connections are protected from inundation.
Protect the plug and the power cable from heat, oil or sharp edges.

The plug of the power cable has a double grounding contact, so that grounding can be performed by simply inserting
the plug.
SUB 3S is a single-phase electropump with in-built thermal circuit breaker and automatic reset and doesn't therefore
require any external protections.
Ch. 5 STARTING THE UNIT
Connect the pipe to the 1" 1/4 delivery mouth before starting the electropump.
Connections must be made so as to avoid losses.
Start the pump by inserting the plug in an appropriate outlet.
Verify that the floating switch stops the pump as soon as the minimum level is
reached.
Make sure that the floating switch is free to move.
The pump is to be installed on a stable surface. Do not rest it on stones or sand without
levelling.
Use pump in clear water free from the presence of sand or other particles which may cause
the pump to block.
Do not position the pump on the bottom in order to avoid suctioning sand, mud and other
particles which could damage it.

The power cable must be replaced by qualified personnel only.

Verify that the voltage and frequency of the electropump
shown on the nameplate correspond to those available on
the mains.
The installer must make sure that the electric system is
grounded in accordance with the law in force.
Make sure that the electric system has a high-sensitivity

circuit breaker =30 mA (DIN VDE 0100T739).
Use the electro-pump in the performance field listed on the
information label
Do not operate the electropump without liquids, to avoid
damaging hydraulic parts and seal.
Do not oparate the electropump when the interception valve on
the delivery side is completely closed.
