Pulling and lifting

Check that the rotation direction is correct for lifting and lowering
prior to starting work. (see page 79)
If the rotation direction is wrong, ask an electrician to check the
direction of the phases and if necessary to correct them (check
existing extension cable).
All extension cables up to 30 m length must have a minimum cross
section of 5x2.5 mm
5x4 mm
After inserting the rope, put the driving gears into operation by pressing the button on the
control pendant.
Actuate the "lift" pushbutton (see page 79).
When pulling, make sure that neither the housing nor the rope are deflected or jammed by
objects or obstacles. The exposed rope must not be obstructed.
Keep an eye on the housing, the rope and the load when the
device is in motion.
Risk of slide by little load. Don't let hang freely more then 50 m of
exposed rope.
As the special construction of the motor does not provide forced ventilation, intermittent
service with 30% intermittent duty is provided for long-term applications. When working
with longer ropes or with a higher intermittent duty over a short period of time, the motor
temperature should not exceed 80°C.
Do not pull the hook against the housing.
Stopping the driving wheel:
Release the pushbutton.
In emergencies, e.g. with jams:
Press the "Emergency OFF" pushbutton (see page 79).
