1 Introduction
The Vetus instrument CCFB is a chain counter for use with the Vetus electrical anchor
windlass Napoleon.
Warning
The instrument is only suitable for use with direct current.

3 Installing
3.1 General
The Vetus instrument CCFB is only suitable for connecting to the Vetus electrical anchor
windlass Napoleon. The instrument must be connected to the chain sensor already fitted
in the Vetus electrical anchor windlass Napoleon.
3.2 Instrument
Warning
Make sure that the battery is disconnected when the instrument is connected.
• The instrument must be installed in such a way that the screen can be read easily. Do
not install the instrument in direct sunlight.
• The back of the instrument must be protected from moisture (water).
