Clothing

When working with the tiller, close-fitting work clothes,
sturdy work gloves, hearing protection and boots with
non-skid soles and steel toe caps are compulsory.

Operation

Before using, always visually inspect to see that the tools are not worn or
damaged. Replace worn or damaged elements and bolts in sets to preserve
balance
Remove all foreign bodies form the area before use. Stone, glass, branches,
etc. can damage the tiller. Check that all bolts on the tiller are tightened.
Start the engine carefully according to manufacturer instructions and with feet
well away from the blade.
Never pick up or carry a machine while the engine is running.
The dangerzone while operating the machine are indicated on figure 12, A.
Starting:
4. Set the throttle handle to choker/full throttle, figure 10.
If the engine is already warm it is not necessary to use the choke.
5. Pull the engine's starting cord slowly until you feel resistance. Then pull in one long
draw. Never let the starting cord run back by itself, always follow it with your hand.
6. Regulate the choke until the engine is running evenly.
Stopping:
3. Turn the gas control to a "low" position and let the engine run for a while.
4. If the engine is mounted with a cabelregulated throttle, full stop, figure 11.
When operating the tiller it is only necessary to use the 2 main handles shown in the
operator's zone, figure 12.
The tiller is designed for cultivating vegetable gardens and flowerbeds. The machine can also
be equipped with various accessories for a variety of tasks.
Read the instructions carefully and make sure you are familiar with how to start and stop the
engine in particular.
When the clutch cable on the right side of the handle is pressed down, the blades are
activated. It is important that the handle is pressed fully down to the handlebar. This will
ensure optimum tightening of the belt, which transfers the power from the engine to the
transmission. Release the handle to stop the blades rotation.
