Attention - The machine is supplied without oil or gas.

Clothing

When using the machine, wear close-fitting work clothes,
tough working gloves, ear defenders and non-slip boots
with steel toecaps.

Operation

The cultivator is designed for use in small kitchen gardens and flower beds.
Read the motor instructions carefully, and ensure that you are familiar with motor start and
stop procedures. To start the motor activate the gas handle fully, prime the engine and pull
the start string until the motor starts.
It is important that the start string is not released, it should be replaced carefully.
When the clutch trigger is pulled up, the machine's blades begin to rotate. Ensure that the
trigger is pulled completely up, i.e. towards the handle, in order to ensure optimal belt
tension and transfer the motor's power to the transmission.

Earth rod

Adjusting the earth rod determines working depth. The lower the earth rod is set the lower
in the ground the machine will work. Correct cultivator depth is the key to untroubled
operation. The right setting depends on the ground conditions.
It is normally necessary to drive the cultivator over a section of earth 2-3 times from
different directions.

Cleaning after use

The cultivator should be cleaned after use. Use a garden hose to wash off soil and dirt.
Remove any grass, etc. from the rotor shaft. The chassis number should only be cleaned
with a damp cloth, otherwise it can be damaged. Avoid using a high-pressure washer
during cleaning.

Storage

If the machine is likely to be stored unused for prolonged periods, follow the
instructions below. This will ensure longer machine lifetime.
Clean all surfaces with a damp cloth and wipe off with a dry cloth. Wipe all surfaces
down with an oily cloth.
You should always store your machine in a dry, clean place.
