%. Above the fugures in the display
there are 3 indicator lights.
SET – The fans set-point
PID – Indicator for PID state
ACT – The fans actual opp. value
The value read-out in the display
when running is the actual opera-
tional value. In PID mode (PID
indicator lit) the value is a % of the
range of the connected transmitter.
The performance can be adjusted
between 0-100%*. After start-up
and adjustment of the fan for the
first time, the set-point is remembe-
red also is the electrical supply is
disconnected.
In operations the display will show
the actual performance (value)
constant and the ACT indicator is lit
if the actiual performance (value) is
equal to set-point value.
The Multiair fan vill now follow the
demand in the application and ad-
just the blower performance
accordingly.
If the set-point is changed during
operation the SET indicator is lit
and the ACT indicator turned off. If
the change in set-point is significant
or the set-point is out of range for
the blower to physical capacity the
display will oscillate between actual
and set-point value for every 3 sec
until the 2 values are equal again.
IMPORTANT: In automatic mode
the value in the display is not re-
lated to the power of the blower,
but an expression of the wanted
performance in the application. If
the display oscillates between SET
and ACT value after 15 to 20 se-
conds it indicates that the wanted
application performance is out of
reach for the blower in question.
DIP switch settings
The Multiair control circuit board is
equipped with a DIP switch blocs
with 8 different settings.
DIP Switch 1:
-ON: Automatic mode
-OFF: Manual mode
DIP Switch 2:
-ON: "+/-" activated
-OFF: "+/- deactivated
DIP Switch 3:
-ON: External start activated
-OFF: External start deactivated
DIP Switch 4:
-ON: Operator panel start
activated
-OFF: Operator panel start
deactivated
DIP Switch 5:
-ON: External stop activated
-OFF: External stop deactivated
DIP Switch 6:
-ON: Operator panel start akti-
vated
-OFF: Operator panel start deacti-
vated
DIP Switch 7:
-ON: Inactive transmitter
-OF: TC fan (trim control) &
Activ transmitter
DIP Switch 8:
-ON: Last device on BUS
communication line
-OFF: Device on the middel of the
BUS communication line
Remote op. panel
The Multiair fans control circuit
board is prepared for a remote ope-
rator panel. The remote operator
panelet can be offered as acces-
sory. To the fan. The communica-
tion between the Multiair control
circuit board and the remote opera-
tor panel is done by a RS485 BUS
communication.
