Dear customer,
We thank you for choosing a Thule product and hope you
enjoy using it. If you fi nd a defect in your product during
the guarantee period, please contact the dealer where you
purcha sed this product.
In accordance with the following conditions, we gua ran tee
the purchaser of this roof box that the product will not
have any faults in material and workmanship for a period
of fi ve years.
The purchaser is also entitled to the statutory guarantee pro vi -
si ons for a guarantee period of two years which, in the case of
a collision, supersede these guarantee conditions.
1. Extent of the guarantee
The guarantee covers the roof box supplied, incl. all parts
delivered with it.
The guarantee covers the exchange or repair of the roof box or
individual parts thereof, or the roof box shall be re-purcha sed
from the purchaser at the purchase price. The costs for ma te -
ri als and labour shall be met by us.
Replaced parts become our property.
2. Guarantee period
The guarantee starts on the day of purchase by the cu sto mer.
All claims under this guarantee shall be considered which are
received by us during the guarantee period of 5 years. After
the expiration of fi ve years, claims under this guarantee can
no longer be made. This shall also apply in cases in which the
entire product or individual parts the reof have been replaced as
a result of the warranty and gua ran tee conditions.
3. Settlement
If defects in the material or workmanship of the roof box are
found during the guarantee period, they must be reported to
us within four weeks.
Apart from the dealer where you purchased this product, only
we are empowered to accept guarantee claims.
The cost for shipping to us or from us to the customer, as well
as the risk of loss or damage during shipping is the re spon si b-
i li ty of the customer.
Claims under this guarantee shall only be considered if the
roof box is returned with the original receipt or cash re gi ster
ticket (giving the date of purchase, purchase price, pro duct
type and name of the dealer).
4. Guarantee exclusions
Claims under this guarantee cannot be considered if
- The roof box has been damaged or destroyed as a result of
force majeure, e.g. war or environmental ca ta stro phe;
- Damage is caused by disregarding instructions or mainte-
nance procedures,
- If the roof box has been ope ned, altered or re pai red by
work shops or people not au tho ri zed to do so;
- If the roof box has been neglected, not used cor rect ly, or has
been modifi ed.
5. Additional regulations
The above provisions do not restrict the consumer's or
customer's statutory rights according to the relevant na tio nal

law, nor do they affect the rights towards the dealer from the
purchase contract concluded between the two parties. In par-

ticular, this shall ap p ly for gua ran tee rights which
remain in full.
6. Applicable law, place of jurisdiction, and other
mat ters
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply for all
claims under this gua ran tee; the provisions of the UN Purcha se
Law are excluded.

wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Händ ler, bei dem Sie die ses
Produkt gekauft haben.
Für diese Dachbox leisten wir dem Erwerber eine Ga ran tie da-
für, dass das Produkt keinen Material- und Ver ar bei tungs feh ler
aufweist über einen Zeitraum von 5 Jah ren nach Maß ga be der
folgenden Bestimmungen.
Dem Erwerber stehen daneben während des Ge währ lei stungs -
zeit rau mes von zwei Jahren auch die gesetzlichen Ge währ lei s-
tungs an sprü che zu, die im Falle einer Kol li si on den Vorrang
vor den Garantiebestimmungen haben.
§ 1 Garantieumfang
Die Garantie erstreckt sich auf die gelieferte Dachbox mit
al len Teilen.
Die Garantie wird in der Form geleistet, dass nach un se rer Ent-
scheidung die Dachbox oder Einzelteile hiervon aus ge tauscht
oder repariert werden oder die Dachbox ge gen Er stat tung des
Kaufpreises zurückgenommen wird. Die Ko sten für Material
und Arbeitszeit werden von uns getragen.
Ersetzte Teile gehen in unser Eigentum über.
§ 2 Garantiezeit
Die Garantie beginnt mit dem Tag des Erwerbs durch den
Kunden. Berücksichtigt werden alle Ga ran tie an sprü che die
innerhalb der Garantiezeit von 5 Jahren bei uns eingehen.
Nach Ablauf von 5 Jahren können keine Ga ran tie an sprü che
mehr geltend gemacht werden. Dies gilt selbst in den Fäl len,
in denen das komplette Produkt oder einzelne Teile auf grund
von Gewährleistungs- bzw. Ga ran tie be din gun gen ersetzt
worden ist.
§ 3 Abwicklung
Zeigen sich innerhalb der Garantiezeit Fehler im Ma te ri al oder
der Verarbeitung der Dachbox, so sind Ga ran tie an sprü che in-
nerhalb von 4 Wochen geltend zu machen.
Zur Entgegennahme von Garantieansprüchen sind neben
dem Händler, bei dem Sie dieses Produkt gekauft haben nur
wir befugt.
Die Kosten für den Weg zu uns oder von uns zum Kun den
sowie das Risiko des Verlustes oder der Be schä di gung auf
dem Weg trägt der Kunde.
Garantieansprüche werden nur berücksichtigt, wenn mit der
Dachbox zugleich die Originalrechnung bzw. der Kas sen be leg
(unter Angabe von Kaufdatum, Kaufpreis, Pro dukt typ und
Name des Händlers) vorgelegt wird.
§ 4 Ausschluss der Garantie
Garantieansprüche können nicht berücksichtigt werden,
- wenn die Dachbox durch den Einfl uss höherer Gewalt, z.
B. durch Krieg oder Umweltkatastrophen, be schä digt oder
zerstört ist;
- bei Schäden, die durch Nicht be ach tung der Be triebs an lei tung
oder Wartung aufgetreten sind;
- falls die Dachbox durch nicht hierfür au to ri sier te Werk stät ten
oder andere Personen geöffnet, ver än dert oder re pa riert wor-
den ist;
