5 Operation and Handing
5.1 Preparation
Remove all packaging and transport materials from the inside and outside of the appliance.
Check that the appliance has no visible damage and that no parts are missing.
Before using the appliance for the first time (or after prolonged storage without use), wash any
parts that will come into contact with food. See "Cleaning".
If desired, lubricate the attachments (12-19) and the holder (11) using a little vegetable oil before
use to avoid staining from strongly colored vegetables such as carrots and beetroot.
