7.2 Adjusting the start address

For operating the unit with a light controller, adjust
the DMX start address for the first DMX channel of
the light effect unit. The following DMX channels
are then automatically assigned to the following
addresses. (For example, for start address 5 the
channels 2 to 6 are assigned to the addresses 6 to
10, address 11 would then be the next possible free
start address for the following DMX-controlled unit.)
Press the button MODE (1) so many times until the
display (3) shows the last address adjusted, e. g.
. Then adjust the address with the button UP
or DOWN (4).
After adjusting the start address, the light effect
unit can be operated via the DMX controller. The
reception of control signals will be indicated by a
flashing point on the display.
7.3 Motor positioning
For motor positioning via the first DMX channel
(DMX value 0 – 100
direction may be reversed, the rotation of the motor
will then be opposite. Press the button FUNC (2) so
many times until
(reverse control) is shown on the display (3), then
switch between both adjustments with the button
UP or DOWN (4).

8 Display of the firmware version

To indicate the present version of the firmware
(operating system of the light effect unit), press the
button FUNC (2) so many times until the display (3)
shows the version number (e. g.

9 Cleaning the Unit

The lenses should be cleaned at regular intervals,
depending on impurities caused by dust, smoke or
other particles. Only this will ensure that the light is
radiated at maximum brightness. For cleaning,
disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
Only use a soft, clean cloth and a detergent for
glass.
For cleaning the other parts of the housing, only
use a soft, clean cloth. Never use any fluid; it may
leak into the unit and cause damage.
