Putting into service
Ensure that the indicated voltage
on the type plate meets the
voltage of the power source.
Plug the power cable into the
socket of the unit and create a
connection with the euro-plug.
Operation of the Polymax 1, 1/120 °C, 3 and 5
Open the lid (3) and fill in water
(max.: 30 mm below the upper
edge).
Select temperature at tempera-
ture control (15).
Close the lid (3) and switch the
unit on at the main switch (9).
The red signal lamp inside the
switch becomes alight.
If the selected temperature is
reached, the yellow heating
control indicator lamp (11) is
constantly alight.
Open the lid (3) and put the
objects into the warm water
bath.
Control the correct position of
the O-ring (7).
Connect the unit to a com-
pressed air aggregate. Fix the
pressure hose at the hose clamp
(26) of the unit and connect it
with the pressure line.
The pressure of the com-
pressed air line must not
exceed 10 bar.
Close the lid (3) and adjust the
time for pressurising at the
timer (15). The manometer (13)
indicates the operating pre-
ssure. The lid will be sealed
pneumatically, if pressure is
turned on.
The Polymax 5 is provided
with a reducing valve. Extract
the reducing valve a little bit
and afterwards regulate the
pressure through a turn to the
right resp. to the left. Press on
the reducing valve again (rotary
protection).
When time is up the unit is ven-
tilated automatically. Open the
lid and remove the objects.
