1 General information
This service manual contains the technical information for
maintaining product safety, reconditioning and repairing
Aquatec® bath lifts.
1.1 Safety advice
WARNING!
Danger of accident and severe injuries.
If a bath lift is faulty it can cause accidents and
severe injuries. The product requires regular
checks and servicing is required for this reason.
IMPORTANT!
– The product must be cleaned, disinfected, the
suction cups must be replaced and a check
(see 2.1 Periodic checks, page 5 ) is required
before re-use.
– Checks and servicing, reconditioning and
repairs for bath lifts may only be carried out
by authorized specialist dealers.
1.2 Safety and fixation instructions
These safety instructions are intended to help avoid
accidents during work and must be observed under all
circumstances.
All employees coming into contact with contaminated
products must regularly consult a company doctor.
Work clothing and personal protective equipment must
be available in necessary quantities and be in proper
condition. Reliable hand and surface disinfection must be
ensured.

Read this repair manual and the associated user
manual carefully and follow the instructions.

Personal safety equipment
Safety shoes
The bath lift and some of its components are very heavy. If
these parts are dropped, they can cause injury to the feet.

Wear safety shoes at all times when working.
General safety information and installation and removal

CAUTION!
Risk of crushing
Different components, such as the drive unit,
seat, etc. are very heavy. They can therefore
pose a risk of injury for the hands.
– Pleased note the heavy weight of certain
components. This particularly applies to the
removal of the drive unit, seat or backrest.
CAUTION!
There is a risk of injury and risk of damage
to the bath lift if service work is carried out
incorrectly or incompletely
– Only use undamaged tools in good condition.
– After the conclusion of the work and
before restarting the bath lift, check that all
connections are secure.

– When the work is complete, always carry out
a trial run.
