Troubleshooting

If the device stops working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device only works
slowly or does not start.

Possible cause/solution
• Is the battery fl at? Recharge it.
• Is the collecting container (5) full? Empty it.
• Is the suction opening blocked? Switch off the device
and remove the blockage.
• Is the mains adapter (7) plugged correctly into the plug
socket and is the jack plug in the connecting socket of
the device?
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
• Clean the scraper lip.
• Turn over a worn scraper lip: Pull the scraper lip
sideways out of its holder, moisten with water or
cleaning agent in the rounded area and slide back into
the holder the other way round.
• Replace the scraper lip if necessary: If after turning the
scraper lip over both edges are worn, a new scraper lip
is required. Replace the scraper lip.
• Check the metering of the cleaning agent.
