Dangers of Injury
■
Keep the device and packaging material away from children and animals. There is a
risk of injury and suffocation!
■
Keep animals, hair, jewellery, wide clothing, fi ngers and all other body parts away
from the nozzle of the device. It could become stuck to them. Should the device
become stuck, switch it off immediately.
■
The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children and animals.
The mains cable must also be kept out of the reach of children. Otherwise they might
use the cable to pull the device down on themselves.
■
Lay the cable in such a way that it does not present a trip hazard.
Danger From Rechargeable Batteries
■
Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
■
If the battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to
come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected
sites with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possible.
■
The battery must not be taken apart, thrown into a fi re, immersed in liquids or short-
circuited.
Danger of Electric Shock
■
The mains adapter should only be connected to a properly installed plug socket with
safety contacts. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection
so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must
match the technical data of the mains adapter. Only use suitable extension cables
whose technical data is the same as that of the device.
■
Never immerse the device, mains adapter, cable or plug in water or other liquids and
ensure that they cannot fall into water or become wet.
■
Should the device or the mains adapter fall into water, switch off the power supply
immediately. Do not attempt to pull the device or the mains adapter out of the water
while it is still connected to the mains power!
■
Never touch the device, mains adapter, cable or plug with wet hands when these
components are connected to the mains power.
■
Switch off the device and pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket if an error
occurs during charging or before a thunderstorm.
■
Always pull the adapter and never the mains cable.
■
Use the device only in closed rooms.
■
Do not operate the device in a very damp environment.
■
Empty and clean the collecting container after each use.
Danger of Fire
■
Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable dust or poisonous and
explosive fumes.
■
Do not operate the device in the vicinity of combustible material.
