5. Useful tips

A new mattress may feel somewhat
rigid in the beginning. As a result it
may initially not adapt perfectly to the
adjustments of the mesh base.
We recommend that you lie down on
the mattress during the initial
adjustments of the mesh base. The
rigidity of the mattress will disappear
after a few days.
The mattress is fitted with a safety
switch. This will deactivate the heating
process if the temperature should
become too high. The Hotspot can be
used as normal, once it has cooled
down sufficiently.
Temporarily deactivate the program
when you go on holiday or will be away
from home for some time (see 4.6).
This will prevent the mattress from
consuming energy unnecessarily.
