GREASE GUN SAFETY WARNINGS

 Know your grease gun. Read operator's manual
carefully. Learn its applications and limitations, as well
as the specific potential hazards related to this tool.
Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock,
fire, or serious injury.
 Routinely make a visual inspection of the hose,
air bleeder valve, grease coupler, and other
components of the grease gun before and during
use. Worn or damaged components can develop a high
pressure leak and result in a possible injection or other
serious personal injury.
 Do not bend or kink the hose as this can cause it
to wear prematurely. Worn hoses may leak or burst
during use.
 Before each use check hose for kinks, signs of
damage from previous kinks, and weak or worn
places. If the hose is damaged, stop using the grease
gun and replace the hose immediately.
 Do not attempt to pull or carry the grease gun by
the hose.
 Only use grease recommended in this operator's
manual. Use of any other grease may create a hazard
or cause product damage.
 To reduce the risk of skin injection wear gloves
during use, hold the high pressure hose by the spring
guard, and keep away from the exposed rubber
portions of the hose. In case of skin injection, seek
medical attention immediately. Do not treat as a simple
cut.
 Always be aware that misuse and improper handling
of grease or this tool can cause injury to yourself
and others.
 DANGER: Certain greases and their vapors can be
flammable. To prevent serious personal injury and
property damage, handle grease with care. Keep
away from ignition sources, handle outdoors only, do
not smoke while loading grease, and wipe up spills
immediately.
 WARNING: This grease gun is designed to generate
high pressure (up to 10,000 psi). Pressurized grease can
be dangerous if subject to misuse. Grease must not be
directed at persons, animals, electrical devices, or the
tool itself.
 Always follow all safety rules recommended by the
manufacturer of your grease gun, in addition to all
safety rules for the grease being used. Following this
rule will reduce the risk of serious personal injury.
 Before applying grease to machinery, turn the
machine off and wait for all moving parts to stop.
Do not apply grease to machines while they are still in
operation or while parts are still in motion. Failure to
follow these instructions can result in serious personal
injury or property damage.
 Do not charge battery tool in a damp or wet location.
Do not use, store, or charge battery packs or
products in locations where the temperature is less
than 50°F or more than 100°F. Do not store outside or
in vehicles.
 Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and
use them to instruct others who may use this tool. If you
loan someone this tool, loan them these instructions
also.
