4.4 Focus setting

Turn the lens (2) to focus the light beam. The easi-
est way to do this is to deactivate the music control
(
chapter 5.1) so that the head only moves
slowly or to set the head to a favourable position via
a DMX controller (

5 Operation without DMX controller

If no DMX control signal is present at the jack DMX
INPUT (10), the yellow indicating LED MASTER (6)
lights up, the display (9) shows the number of the
show program adjusted (Sh 1 – 4) and the unit
automatically runs through the show program.
Important: Deactivate the blackout mode for this
purpose,

5.1 Activating / deactivating

Adjusting the microphone sensitivity
Activate or deactivate the music control to define if
the movements of the light beam and the change of
light patterns and colours are music-controlled via
the microphone (5) or not:
1) Press the button MENU (7) repeatedly until the
display shows
2) Press the button ENTER. The display starts
flashing.

The green LED SOUND (8) briefly lights up
when the light colour, the light pattern or the
movement of the light beam changes due to a
music signal.
6) For music control, set the microphone sensitivity
in such a way that the movements of the light
beam and the change of light patterns and
colours reproduce the dynamic power of the
music in an optimum way. To change the sensi-
tivity, press the button MENU repeatedly until
the display shows

Notes
1. When you change the volume of the music system,
adapt the microphone sensitivity accordingly.
2. If the volume is too low or if the microphone sensitivity is
too low, the moving head will automatically change the
light pattern, the colour of the light beam and the move-
ment of the head.

5.2 Selecting a show program

Four different show programs are available which
differ in the maximum pan and tilt angles of the
head:
Show 1 is provided for setting up the moving head
on the floor. The maximum tilt angle is 210°.
Show 2 is provided for ceiling installation. The
maximum tilt angle is 90°.
Show 3 is provided for setting up the moving head
on stage towards the audience. The pan angle is
160° and the tilt angle is 90° (60° above the hor-
izontal plane and 30° below the horizontal
plane).
Show 4 is also provided for ceiling installation. The
maximum pan angle is 160° and the maximum
tilt angle is 90° (75° to the front and 15° to the
rear).
