Strictly follow the Instructions for Use
Any use of the mask/helmet combination requires a full understanding and
strict observation of these instructions. This full face mask may only be
used for the purposes specified here.
Maintenance
The mask/helmet combination must be regularly inspected and serviced by
suitably qualified persons. Repairs on the mask/helmet combination must
only be carried out by suitably qualified persons. We recommend that you
enter into a service contract with Dräger Safety and that all repairs be
conducted by Dräger Safety.
Only authentic Dräger parts may be used for maintenance.
Strictly follow the chapter "Test and maintenance intervals".
Accessories
Do not use accessory parts other than those in the order list.
Markings
These Instructions for Use describe the mask/helmet combination with the
following model identifications:
P100A/Panorama Nova S - EPDM - PC - HC - RA
P100F/Panorama Nova S - EPDM - PC - HC - RA
P100A/Panorama Nova S - EPDM - PC - HC - RA - S
P100F/Panorama Nova S - EPDM - PC - HC - RA - S
The identifications can be read from the outside: Panorama Nova - S and
EPDM on the mask body. PC on the lens. HC on the adapters. RA on the
fitting. P100A or P100F on the visor of the helmet. S on the lens frame
(size).
These Instructions for Use belong to the full face mask.
Note the Instructions for Use belonging to the protective helmet.
Test and basis of construction
The protective police helmet has been designed and tested in accordance

Description/Intended Use
The mask/helmet combination has been designed for typical police use.
The system consists of a protective helmet and full face mask.
The full face mask can be attached via adapters to the protective helmet
P100A or P100F or be worn with adaptable head harnesses under the
helmet as a breathing connection. If the full face mask is equipped with an
adapter for a protective helmet, a neck carrying strap can also be attached.
Protective helmet and full face mask with head harness can also be worn
separately.
Limitation of the Intended Use
Beards and side burns near the sealing area of the full face mask cause
leaks!
Such people cannot wear the full face mask.

Use
Putting on the mask/helmet combination
Mask with helmet
On both sides of the full face mask insert
the angles L/R with the bolt into the hole
of the adapter holder and push into the
clamp until they snap in.
If necessary, attach the neck carrying
strap to the angles L/R in position A.
On both sides of the full face mask place
the adapters onto the buttons of the
angles L/R in position B and push into the
clamp until they snap in.
If no neck carrying strap is used the adapter
can be attached to position A or B.
For spectacled persons: Integrate
corrective glasses into the full face mask.
Open the chin strap of the protective helmet.

Put on the protective helmet

Fully open both adapter straps. Hold both adapters and place the full face
mask in front of the face. Push the top edge of the full face mask under
the protective helmet, then insert both adapter tabs right and left into the
adapter locks of the protective helmet. The adapter tabs must snap in
audibly at least once on both sides (maximal three notches).
Tighten the rubber shackle of the adapter until the mask sits tightly on the
face.
Adjust the full face mask, close the chin strap of the protective helmet.
Only tighten the chin strap sufficiently so as not to deform the full face
mask. The chin strap can also remain open when wearing the full face
mask.
Let a second person check that the full face mask is properly seated.
