If you push this button inwards, the attached egg whisks or dough hooks are
released.
C ON/OFF SW ITCH
Functionality when using the appliance as a handheld mixer:
When the egg whisks or the dough hooks are inserted into the motor unit, you
can switch the appliance on permanently by pressing the ON/OFF button once on
the left side (I). If you want to stop mixing / kneading, press the button down on
the right side (0).
Functionality when using the appliance as a blender:
When the blender shaft is inserted into the motor unit, you can only activate appli-
ance as long as you press and hold the left side of the ON/OFF button (I). Once you
release the ON/OFF button, the blender stops. This is a safety precaution.

The operation time (in minutes and seconds) as well as the selected speed are dis-
played in the illuminated LCD screen.
E SPEED BUTTON S – AND +
You can use the speed buttons to choose between 16 settings. Each press of the
button + increases speed by one step, each press of the button – reduces speed
by one step. If you press and hold the buttons, the steps are quickly counted up
or down.
