STORAGE
If the engine is not used for long periods of time it must be stored as follows:
1.
Drain petrol from the tank, carburettor and pipes, close air lever completely and pull-start
3 ~ 5 times;
2.
Remove the spark plug, put a small quantity of engine oil in the cylinder, through the
spark plug hole, move the piston with the pull-cord a couple of times up to top dead
centre and install the spark plug;
3.
Use a soft cloth with some oil to clean the engine surface, put the engine in a dry,
ventilated place until it is needed the next time.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1.
Start-up failed:
• The petrol has been mixed with water or some other liquid that is different from 2S
engine oil;
• The spark plug is too worn or simply dirty;
• No or insufficient contact between the electric coil wire and the spark plug.
2.
Engine running but the revs are not increasing:
• Check choke opening;
• Check oil percentage in the petrol;
• There is water or other liquid in the petrol.
3.
Engine running but power is insufficient:
• Air filter either clogged or dirty;
• Combustion chamber or silencer full of unburned deposits;
• The piston ring has worn too much;
• Petrol filter is either clogged or dirty;
• Oil or air leaking from the engine.
4.
The engine turns off unexpectedly:
• No more fuel;
• The spark plug is not being powered;
• Too much unburned material accumulated on the spark plug or it has broken;
• The mixture filter is completely clogged;
• The tank air intake is clogged.
