STARTING
1.
Press the carburettor diaphragm until the petrol pipes are full of fuel (Fig. 3);
2.
Close the choke completely (Fig. 4);
The choke must be fully open if the engine is "hot";
3.
Open the accelerator halfway;
4.
Pull the starting cord gently a few times and then pull it quickly;
Note: Be careful when starting a "hot" engine because the ignition is actually on it!
You will have difficulty in starting the engine if there is too much petrol. You need to disconnect
the spark plug wire and the petrol feed pipe, open the choke completely as well as the
accelerator control, pull the pull-cord a few times and then reconnect the wire and pipe you
disconnected earlier and start the engine. Once started, open the choke completely.
