MAINTENANCE
1.
Daily checks:
• Check that all the screws are tight;
• Check for any fuel leaks;
• Clean the engine, removing any unburned oil that may have dripped from the muffler.

Checks after 2 hours of use:
• Clean the air filter;

Checks after 10 hours of use:
• Check the cylinder condition, changing the piston rings if you find there is an unusual drop in
performance;
• Remove unburned material deposits from the cylinder combustion chamber;
• Remove unburned material deposits from the spark plug and verify the distance of 0.5 ~ 0.6
mm (Fig. 6);
• Remove unburned material deposits from the exhaust and muffler (Figs. 7-8).
4.
Checks after 20 hours of use:
•
Clean the fuel mixture filter.
5.
Extraordinary maintenance:
• Extraordinary maintenance is necessary if there are sudden breaks or excessive wear of
components like, for example, changing the connecting rod, piston, feed coil or any other
part that can compromise engine operation.
Nota: All maintenance and cleaning must be done with the engine switched off and never just
after it has been used because of the high temperatures involved.
