Fit the retract strut into the retract mechanism. With the axle
fi t to the retract, mark the axle so it can be trimmed. Refer to
the retract instructions for the installation of the strut into the
retract unit.

Remove the axle and cut it at the mark made in the previous
step. Use a fl at fi le to make an area where the setscrew will
tighten.

Slide the axle into the wheel. Apply a drop of light machine oil
on the axle so the wheel will roll smoothly when installed.

Secure the axle by tightening the setscrew.

Check the alignment between the wheel and edge of the wing
center section to make sure they are parallel. If not, adjust the
strut as necessary to set this alignment. Once the wheel has
been aligned, tighten all the hardware securing the strut into
the retract mechanism.
